Privacy is built into how Ledgerhorn works. This page explains what we collect about you, our customer, and how we treat the public records in our emails.

What we collect about customers

  • Account details: your name, business name, email address, plan and the trades you choose.
  • Payment: handled by our payment processor ([PAYMENT PROCESSOR]). We don't see or store your full card number.
  • Email delivery data: whether an email was delivered or bounced, and [IF ENABLED: whether it was opened or a link was clicked, so we can tell what's useful].
  • Messages you send us: support emails and feedback.

How we use it

To send your emails, bill you, answer questions, send service and billing notices (like renewal reminders), and improve Ledgerhorn. We don't sell or rent customer information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Ledgerhorn (payments, email delivery, hosting) under confidentiality obligations, or when the law requires it.

Homeowners and residents in public records

  • We never publish homeowner or resident names, phone numbers, emails, permit numbers or exact home addresses.
  • Residential activity is shown only in summary form, such as by block (for example, "1200 blk Elm St") or ZIP code, with no links that lead to a specific home.
  • Commercial and business entries (companies, contractors, storefronts, licensed premises) may show the business name, address and permit details as published by the agency.
  • Every email and spreadsheet goes through a privacy check before it's sent.

If you believe your personal information appears in anything we've sent, email [email protected] and we'll remove it promptly.

How long we keep it

Account and billing records: while your account is open, and afterward as required for tax and accounting (generally up to 7 years). Delivery logs: up to 12 months. Raw public-record downloads: only as long as needed to build and check our emails.

Your choices

You can update your details, cancel any time, unsubscribe from non-billing email with one click, or ask us to delete your data (except records the law requires us to keep) by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days.

Security

We limit who can access customer data, use established providers, and never put customer information in the emails we send to others.

Children

Ledgerhorn is a business service and isn't directed to anyone under 18.
